General Note:
We appreciate reasons for a cancellation may differ and are sympathetic towards those that cannot be avoided, though we would ask you to please remember that although this is our home, it is still a business and our livelihood. We therefore look individually at any cancellation together with reason given and then assess it accordingly, and the following Procedures are put into force at our discretion. If this is of concern when making the booking we would ask you to please inform us of this at the time and we also recommend that you take out a Holiday/Travel Insurance Policy that will cover you for any of those unforeseeable costs including possible adverse weather conditions which may make travelling difficult or even impossible - this can quite often be obtained at a reasonable premium as an extension to your household policy, or for inexpensive holiday insurance (UK only) please see Guest First.

Cancellation Procedure:
For all cancellations following confirmation either way of a booking we are entitled to charge your credit/debit card with an administration charge of up to 25% of the total amount agreed. If less than seven full clear days notice prior to the date of arrival is given and we are able to re-let the room, then only the above charge will apply, however, if we are unable to re-let the room then we are entitled to charge your credit/debit card with the full amount agreed. Every reasonable effort will be made in trying to re-let the room.

Curtailment Procedure (when a guest cuts short their stay) :
If we are able to re-let the room then only the above administration charge will apply, if though we are unable to re-let the room then we are entitled to charge your credit/debit card with the full amount agreed. Every reasonable effort will be made in trying to re-let the room.

No-Show Procedure (when a guest fails to arrive at all):
We will charge the full amount agreed to your credit/debit card.

Charges Made:
The above charges will be made in full to your credit/debit card at the time of cancellation and any refund due will be made after your booking date(s).

Any amount charged to your credit/debit card will incur a 3% charge.

These Terms and Conditions overrule any or other cardscheme rules that your credit/debit card provider may have in place or offer.
